GECES Social Impact Measurement SubGroup - Report adopted

The sub group of GECES (Group of experts of the Commission on social enterpreneurship) dedicated to the social impact measurement has approved on June the 3rd its report "Proposed Approaches to Social Impact Measurement in European Commission legislation and in practice relating to: EuSEFs and the EaSI ".

 

As stated in the report, the sub - group has the mandate to develop a methodology for measuring the social impact of activities by social enterprises by the end of 2013. This methodology is most needed in two contexts : firstly, for of the development of European Social Entrepreneurship Funds (“EuSEFs”), and secondly, in the context of the Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (“EaSI”).
