FEBEA will participate and co-organize the upcoming edition of Enterprising for Tomorrow 2026, which will take place on 19 May 2026 in Iași, Romania, in a hybrid format.
Now in its 4th edition, Enterprising for Tomorrow is recognised as the leading social economy event in Eastern Europe. The conference brings together social economy actors, social entrepreneurs, ethical finance practitioners, impact investors, policymakers, NGOs, academics and other relevant stakeholders from across Europe, creating a valuable space for dialogue, visibility and collaboration.
The conference is hosted by ADV Romania, a pioneering social enterprise group founded in 2002, a leading voice in the European social economy ecosystem, and an organization in the Board of Directors of AFIN, a member of FEBEA.
For the Ethical Finance community, the event is particularly relevant as it addresses key themes at the heart of FEBEA’s mission, including access to finance for social enterprises, ethical and alternative finance, impact investing, and the role of finance in supporting inclusive and sustainable local development.
The event is organised within the AFIN – Social Investment Fund project, in which FEBEA is a partner.
In this context, the conference contributes to a broader European effort to strengthen the social finance ecosystem and improve access to suitable financial instruments for social enterprises in Romania and beyond.
The 2026 edition will also include thematic conference sessions and workshops, the Buy Social Expo, the Accelerator of Social Enterprises Gala, and dedicated networking opportunities connecting actors from Eastern and Western Europe.
