In 2020, our member Cassa Centrale (together with Allitude, Assicura and Claris Leasing – part of the Cassa Centrale Banking Group) partnered with Caritas to provide concrete answers to people affected by the Covid-related crisis in several Italian cities.
Thanks to a 1 million Euros donation received by Cassa Centrale, each beneficiary Caritas was able to propose specific projects in response to requests for help from the people most affected by the pandemic.
The areas of intervention have been identified on the basis of the different situations of need present in the various territories: homeless people, families with children living below the poverty line, job preservation, new unemployed people, local micro-enterprises at risk were in particular addressed by the programme.
