Our member Banca Etica supports Fairbnb.coop, a platform that applies criteria of legality and sustainability, collaborates with local institutions and allocates 50% of the commission paid by the traveler for each transaction to support projects with a positive social impact in the local community.

Challenges

Started in October 2019, held back by the coronavirus, Fairbnb.coop is including houses that have certification codes and respect the sustainability rules of each city.

Fairbnb chose to collaborate with Banca Etica: «It was a source of inspiration, since it seemed extraordinary that, in a market like that of banks, in addition to cooperative credit, a bank was born that had a genetic code of social responsibility, help and attention to the territory. Banca Etica also expresses values that allow identification with those of the customer or shareholder. And it is something similar that we want to build with Fairbnb.coop .
